“Oh really?” Artemis smirked back at the vampire, as she took a sip from her glass. “I’m not wishing the fun away just saying that it should be enjoyed while its here.”

“Really.” Gerardo copied her action downing his glass before placing it down. “It sounds like you are, but I suppose you were always the more serious one out of the two of us. More sensible one perhaps.”

“Unfortunately for you but I’m sure that you’ll find a way to make up for that,” Artemis chuckled, before sighing, “Ah, then it’s only a matter of time before the fun is over.”

“I’m sure I will. I’m also sure I’ll find something to preoccupy myself in the mean time.” Gerardo found himself saying, not being able to keep his eyes off the alpha. “Oh don’t wish the fun away so quickly, cara mia.”

“It definitely is a good for you. Oh you say you want something to happen now, you might just get what you want. This is the fae after all,” Artemis chuckled with a shake of her head. “Whatever it is, I hopefully its something less bloody this time.”

Gerardo smirked knowing she was right. “The Unseelie Court prefer to leave blood out of things. Unfortunately. Still iy will be fun either way.”

“Party planning, and the fact that threats to their rule seem to inexplicably neutralize themselves.” She nodded in agreement. “I find it more entertaining than the party itself.”

“The party is inconsequential, I’m interested in what it will bring.”

“It’s a good thing I find you as equally good looking in a leather jacket then, right?” Artemis chuckled with a grin, “This should be a curious night, I’m expecting something to happen.”

“I suppose so.” The vampire replied a smirk appearing as he did. “I hope something does, it’ll just be an average party otherwise.”
